Established in N.A.H.C founded 9th March 1987, our team understands the evolving industry. We provide reliable solutions, benefiting the community we serve with an unwavering commitment to excellence.

The sector includes a wide range of professionals – hairdressers, cosmetologists, beauty therapists, and manufacturers of health, skin, and hair care products. With the industry’s increasing importance, there is a critical need to create formal mechanisms to regulate the sector and facilitate its development along professional lines.

The National Association of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists (NAHC) has been established as an umbrella organization representing the varied interests of the sector.

Incorporation Rules and Regulations

To establish the legal framework of the NAHC, draft the instruments of incorporation and the rules governing the organization.

Fundrasing and Committtee

To develop a budget for the National Association of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists, identify funding sources and prepare funding-raising a Secretariat for the Association, selecting accommodation.

Public Relations Committee

To bring the work of the NAHC to public attention , establish links between the association and the various segments of the media and matain a high level of awarness among NAHC members regarding industry matters.

Training and Education Committee

To create a successful training policy, establish a dedicated National Academy. It’s also crucial to identify local and eternal sources of technical assistance.

Standards and Ehtics Committee

To establish working relations with government, the Jamaica Bureau of Standards and other national agencies as well as manufacturers. It will also ensure that quality products and services are delivered, and that high levels of professionalism are maintained.
